Principal Address

On Tuesday 23rd November 2021, there were media reports about the views of the Yallingup Steiner School Principal regarding mandatory COVID vaccinations.

While we work closely with all the WA Steiner schools and aim to be supportive in our gesture towards them at all times, each Steiner School is independent of the other in terms of constitution and management.

With regard to vaccinations and the pandemic, GHSS has been and will continue to be consistent in its approach. That is, that we will follow the government directives and official health advice.

Our school is dedicated to providing Steiner Education in the best way we can and we have wise, dedicated, caring staff, working hard each day ensuring we deliver the curriculum creatively and positively. The children and their healthy positive development is our focus and always has been.

Our community's ability to rise above opinion and judgement in favour of care and respect for one another, around this very emotive issue, has been truly remarkable and so helpful in allowing the educational mission to not be sidetracked.

Thank you for your ongoing support and goodness.

Jacqui Hollingworth
